The Frances M. Maguire School of Nursing and Health Professions is located in Gwynedd Mercy University’s satellite campus in Bensalem. The facility has a clean and contemporary aesthetic with bold, energetic accents. The color palette took cues from the University’s logo. Patterns were used in the flooring to promote wayfinding and interest, especially in the Nursing Labs where medical equipment dominates the wall space.

 

Integrated technology and flexible furniture provide adaptable learning environments throughout the building. Classrooms can be easily re-configured to suit the needs of the lesson. Skills and Simulation Labs provide students with hands-on learning spaces which include a state-of-the-art monitoring system that records students' performances. Lounge areas are designed to be multifunctional; they work for both large group meetings and individual study/work functions.
