This pilot facility is the first of many to come in the Doylestown Health family. The health system set out to establish a new brand of convenient, community-centered urgent care with positive patient experiences. They employ a hospitality-focused patient care model that provides exceptional clinical and diagnostic services, starting at the concierge desk where patients are greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. The open design of the desk combined with a dynamic illuminated feature wall makes a distinct first impression that is both soothing and inviting.

Special attention was paid to bringing natural light into the interior of the suite to maximize patient and staff comfort. The exam rooms are situated along the exterior curtain wall where frosted glass and a custom media wall provide privacy yet still allow for plenty of natural light. The media wall is also designed to foster full-spectrum, humanized health discussions between provider and patient by offering tools to access and display health records and educational information.

Serving and supporting Doylestown Health's existing community was a catalyst for the site selection. Wulff Architects aided in the assessment and selection of the site to ensure that it met with Doylestown Health's long-term development and market goals as well as the immediate needs of the urgent care facility itself. The convenient proximity of adjacent businesses and high visibility also position this site to capture new patients in an expanding market. Attention to detail and an innovative design approach have allowed this facility to dramatically exceed anticipated patient projections since opening week.
